Overview

• Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry 
• Start Date: May 20, 2024
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (7:00am - 7:30pm)
• 48 hours per week
• Ratios: 1:7

Role Description

This is a contract on-site role for a Travel Nurse RN - MS/Tele in Chesapeake, VA. The Travel Nurse RN will be responsible for providing direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical and Telemetry unit. The role involves assessing and monitoring patients, administering medications, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring patients' safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Experience in Medical/Surgical/Telemetry/Neuro/Stroke nursing
• Must be EPIC proficient - No exceptions
• IV Start, Telemetry Interpretation - Must have worked with neurology/stroke patients in the past - Required 
• 2 years experience required, travel experience preferred
• Compact or VA license in hand - No exceptions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility and adaptability
• BLS and ACLS certifications required via American Heart Association; NIHSS
