Requirements:
- Two (2) years of experience required.
- Community Hospital experience required.
- One (1) year of EPIC charting experience required.
- Medication System: Omnicell
- Flu Vaccine Required – No Exemptions.
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
- Active SC RN license required.
- First-time Travelers – 3 years’ experience within specialty required.
Required Clinical Skills:
- IV therapy/Phlebotomy: Accessing/Managing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs
- Respiratory: Nasal Cannula, Oral suctioning, Oxygen tanks
- Genitourinary/Renal
- Gastrointestinal: Colostomy/ileostomy management/care, Feeding tube care and management
- Medications: Heparin, Insulin
- Isolation Precautions/PPE
- Work Settings: Med/Surg, Orthopedics
- Plastics
Schedule:
- Shift hours: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
- Weekend Requirement: Every Other
- Required Float based on need.
