Role Overview: This role involves providing critical care to patients with life-threatening conditions, monitoring vital signs, and operating advanced medical equipment. Additionally, this involves administering medications, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, and responding rapidly to changes in a patient’s condition. This role requires strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver compassionate care in high-pressure environments.

Requirements:

1.5 years of experience
COVID-19 Vaccine Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed
Flu Vaccine Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
MUST have strong Neuro experience
Teaching Hospital Experience Preferred
Community Hospital Experience Preferred
LTAC Experience Preferred
First Time Travelers Accepted – Experienced required
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required
SC License required
EPIC Charting Proficiency Experience Required

Skills required:

Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response: Interpretation of dysrhythmia, Management of dysrhythmia, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
IV therapy: Arterial line management, Central line care/management
Medications: Continuous IV sedation, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips
Respiratory/Thoracic: BiPAP/CPAP management, Care of Ventilated Patient, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Suctioning (ETT, NT)

Schedule:

Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)
Float: Required
Weekend Coverage: Every other
