Role Overview: This role involves performing procedures using imaging modalities while ensuring high standards of patient care, safety, and clinical outcomes. Requirements:
All IR procedures include stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephograms, kyphoplasty, peripherals, Biopsies, drainages, upper and lower extremity, Abd and pelvic, genitourinary studies, vascular studies, venous access, and neurological studies.
Siemens and Phillips x-ray equipment experience required, Acuson preferred.
Teaching Hospital Experience Preferred but not required.
Community Hospital Experience Preferred but not required.
Outpatient, OR, ER Experience Preferred but not required.
Level I Trauma Experience Preferred but not required.
Preferred Skills/ Certs/ Exp:
ARRT Advanced Cert preferred.
EPIC and McKesson preferred.
Schedule:
Shift: First shift with call, staggered start time between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM for 5x8 hours/day M-F.
Call Requirement: The traveler rotates Primary call and Back-up call with other team members (so we can provide round the clock coverage). Primary call is one day approximately every 4 weeks and the weekend every 5th-6th weekend. Back up call is approximately 7 days (to include a weekend) every 9 weeks.
Float Requirement: None.
Weekend Requirement: Weekends and evenings/nights on call rotation.
