Role Overview: This role involves administering prescribed radiation treatments to patients, most commonly as part of cancer care, using advanced medical equipment. The radiation therapist works closely with oncologists and the healthcare team to accurately position patients, follow detailed treatment plans, and ensure safety and precision. Compassionate patient support and careful documentation are essential throughout the treatment process. Requirements:
Minimum two years of experience required

Skills: Adult Acute Care; CT Simulation, Custom Molds, Custom Shield, MRI, PET Scan, Tumor Localization, Beam Modifying/Positioning, Block cutting, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, Wedges, Calculate dose of radiation, Pinnacle (Philips), Eclipse (Varian), External Beam Therapy, IMRT - Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy, ARIA, Varian 21 ex/ix, Lift/ transfer devices, Isolation Precautions, Radiation Safety, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Simulation of Treatment Sites, CT/iCT
NC or Compact license
Certificates Required: ARRT T, BLS
Any charting system experience required
Will accept 1st time travelers
Schedule:
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:30)
Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)
Staggering shifts for the 4x10s: • One shift would be 7 am - 5:30 pm with 30 min lunch • Next group would be 8 am - 6:30 with 30 min lunch
Floating: Candidates must be open to floating within/near facility per job description
