Role Overview: This role involves monitoring patient vital functions, adjusting equipment settings on heart-lung machines and other life-support equipment during cardiac and complex surgical procedures, ensuring proper circulation and oxygenation while the heart or lungs are temporarily stopped and collaborating closely with surgeons and anesthesia teams to maintain patient stability and support successful surgical outcomes.
Requirements:
Five (5) years of experience required.
Flu Vaccine Required - No Exemptions
Special procedures: Must be able to work 5x days a week with the ability to independently assist is ECMO cannulation in adult, pediatric and neonatal patients. Must have minimum 5 years of experience in Perfusion and be comfortable operating in fast pace emergent cardiac cases. **** ECMO Transport is a MUST
Special Equipment: Must have Spectrum Pump experienced.
Experience also requested in Terumo system 1, Quest MPS 2/3 Cardioplegia, ISTAT, Centrimag, Impella 5.5, Bellmont Hyperthermia Kit, CardioHelp, Angiovac, CardioQuip HC.
