Requirements:
- 2 years’ ER experience required.
- Flu Vaccine Required - No Exemptions
- 1 year of EPIC experience is required
- Medication system: Pyxis & Omnicell
- Certificates Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Active RN SC license
- First time travelers considered based on experience
- Skills: Telemetry, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams
- Special Procedures/Unit Details: Cardiac / Telemetry Monitoring, Pulse Oximetry Monitoring, TEE, negative pressure isolation (AFB) and dialysis. Level 3 administration of continuous intravenous infusions and IV push medications for inpatient care per policy.
- Types of Procedures Performed: Cardiac / telemetry monitoring, Pulse oximetry,
TEE, Negative pressure isolation (AFB), Thoracentesis/Paracentesis, Dialysis,
Level 3 administration of continuous intravenous infusions and IV Push medications for inpatient care per policy
- Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)
- FLOAT is required if needed.
- Weekend coverage - Every other but may change based on need.
