Summary

The Recruiter role requires high-volume recruiting in a fast-paced staffing environment and assisting with the daily functions of the HR department including hiring, interviewing, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices for the agency.  Will also require a minimum of three years recruiting in a commercial competitive environment.  Must keep up to date on HR policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Some college coursework specific to General Business or Human Resources, college degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in high-volume full-desk recruiting. A sense of urgency, the ability to assess and make quick decisions about talent is required.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information and exhibit excellent judgement and maturity in critical thinking and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills to collaborate and successfully build internal and external relationships
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be proficient in MS Office software, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Demonstrated track record of accuracy and attention to detail
  • High-energy, driven, ambitious, outgoing personality
  • Position involves receiving and responding to a large volume of correspondence including emails, text, and phone calls.

Supervisory Responsibilities

May have some supervisory responsibilities as the business grows.

 

Essential Functions

  • Source, review, screen, and interview candidates
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for passive and active candidates.
  • Develop candidate attraction and sourcing strategies by effectively marketing opportunities, developing key relationships, and utilizing strategies to identify and attract top talent
  • Drive organization, leadership, culture, and talent solutions that optimizes the organization and enables business growth and success.
  • Evaluate reports, decisions, and results of HR initiatives in relation to established goals; recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to the continual improvements in efficiency of services performed.
  • Partner with hiring managers to facilitate organization of new employee training and orientation

 

Physical Demands

This position is primarily remote.  May become hybrid once Pandemic numbers decrease.    

 

 

Work Environment

This job operates in a clerical, office setting.  This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phone, copier, filing cabinets and fax machine.

 

Travel

Travel is not required.
